Couture 360 Salon Streaks for Cancer

Lake Zurich, IL, Friday, September 23, 2011:  Streaking?  No, it’s not what you think.  Hair salons across the United States are joining together to streak hair with pink tinsel in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation and our community’s very own Couture 360 is a participating salon.

Whatever you normally do with your hair, you can do with tinsel in your hair.  You can wash, blow dry and even flat iron up for 400 degrees.  It speaks, it doesn’t scream.  It makes a subtle statement about your support for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

To reserve your appointment, you need to go online to www.StreakForCancer.org and click on “Register To Get Streaked”.  100% of your appointment proceeds go directly to Streak For Cancer so the appointment is pre-paid at time of online registration, not at the salon.

Once you’ve completed your online registration, you can call Couture 360 at 847.540.5500 to schedule your appointment.  Appointments are limited and expected to fill in quickly.  Please reserve your appointment as soon as possible.

PRESS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE HAWTHORN WOODS WOMEN’S CLUB BACKPACK MANIA 2011

Even though our thoughts are on how to spend the sunny and warm summer days, the HWWC is looking ahead to the fall and the new school year. Do you remember what it was like going back to school after a nice summer break wearing a new outfit and carrying your new school supplies? Some children will be in transitional housing at the beginning of their school year. These children will be counting on our donations of backpacks and school supplies to help make their first day of school a good one. Along with your support, together we can make a huge difference for these children!
Last year there were 100 children from A Safe Place, Lake County Haven, and Staben House who needed backpacks and school supplies. Once again, the HWWC is expecting there will be a considerable number of children from these shelters who will need our assistance to help provide them with the necessary supplies before they head off to their first day of school. Also, like in the past years, the HWWC will be working closely with the three shelters so we can purchase the specific school supplies their children will need.
The HWWC is asking people to sponsor a child with a monetary donation; any amount will be greatly appreciated!! Below are the suggested amounts spent per child for the various grade levels:
Preschool ~ $12 Kindergarten ~ $14 1st, 2nd, &3rd grades ~ $30

Growing Fitness Franchise shows off bio-sensitive, robotic exercise at opening of new headquarters

For Immediate Release

Lake Zurich, Illinois – March 10, 2011 – Physicians and researchers say exercise is strong medicine. However, a full 85% percent of adults are frustrated with their inability to integrate exercise into their lives. The Exercise Coach®, a growing fitness franchise, based in Lake Zurich (IL), believes they have found the ideal solution and will showcase their unique, guided-fitness process at the grand opening of their new headquarters at 500 S. Rand Rd. in Lake Zurich.

Exercise has been proven to have the power to be life changing, age-defying, body-transforming and unfortunately difficult for most people to embrace. Brian Cygan, CEO of The Exericse Coach®, says that his company is on a mission to change the way people think about exercise. Along the way he believes that people who are normally less than enthusiastic about exercise will be inspired to look, feel, and function better. “The fitness industry has failed to inspire the average person.” says Cygan. “While the vast majority of people lack motivation and confidence when it comes to exercise, our industry has stayed the course of catering to avid exercise enthusiasts.” The burden to solve this imbalance is what drove Cygan to found The Exercise Coach® in 2000 and tirelessly pursue the creation of the most powerful and practical workouts in the world. Cygan says, “Our goal is to be the perfect fit for people who are busy, intimidated by big gyms, afraid of getting hurt and who just plain hate exercise. We have achieved this by creating an exercise experience and environment that is simultaneously effective and approachable.” At the heart of this unprecedented exercise experience is a proprietary bio-sensitive training process. “We measure the unique muscular and metabolic capabilities of each individual and our technology actually learns about and adapts to them so we deliver just the right dose of exercise to safely and rapidly transform their physiology.” This includes both strength and cardiovascular conditioning. The key to this transformation, according to Cygan, is the muscles. Pointing to research, he argues that as we age and lose muscle we experience the symptoms of aging. On the other hand, if a person effectively conditions their muscles, research shows they can turn back the clock by as many as 30 years.  “Our clients enjoy the motivating, visual bio-feedback they get every second of every workout.” Says Cygan.  “They enjoy increased strength, endurance, bone density, weight control, and energy.”

The Exercise Coach will be showcasing their franchise concept and personal fitness process at a grand opening event at their headquarters – 500 S. Rand Road, Lake Zurich, on April 5th at 1:00 p.m.

Corporate Summary

The Exercise Coach® guides unlikely exercisers through the most powerful and practical workouts in the world. We help people achieve the results that matter most to them with no more than two, 20-minute workouts per week. Through bio-sensitive training technologies we measure our clients’ unique muscular and metabolic make up and deliver precisely appropriate doses of exercise regardless of age or current condition.
